Mousam Lake-Access and Bait

Good Evening Friends,

I'm taking the trip from Brunswick over to Mousam lake tomorrow. I'm hoping I can get advice on access, I've never fished the lake before but I feel like taking a road trip.

Also would I be better off fishing shiners or smelts?

I really appreciate the advice and help.

One flag not too shabby for mousam!  I'll go once a year because it's close and always tell myself I'll find a secluded spot away from all the sleds and wheelers but never happens.
