Evanoika is located at the north end by float bridge. The access your talking about is the Edward Kehoe also known as green dump.

I had a blast there tonight! Not sure how many I got yet, but I have a pile in the bucket! Including three 9" fellas- exactly what I was looking for! I set up just past the shanty town and lit up a propane lamp. I used a little homemade glo in the dark jig tipped with a Gulp waxworm. Inside of three minutes I had fish. Awesome!

Here are the results of my trip down to the Green Dump last night... not too shabby for about 3 hours of fishing.  A lot of fun and I got the Master Angler smelt I was looking for (got three of them actually)

They are a blast to catch , especially when they come up to the hole! Gets old after awhile , neck and back says stop ! Great fun though! Moved shanty to Pike , bass , perch and trout area because the smelt would eat all the bait!

Off green dump in 30-50ft of water! Start just off bottom and they will work there way up! The more action you give them with cut bait and flasher the more they go into a frenzy! Have fun and watch out for Big wiggle! Ha

so glad to see you had fun and i am glad i could help you with your journey to get a master angler Smelt , if you think they are big this year , you should saw the run of smelt last year. I probably caught 4 smelt last that were 10-11 inches long  :o :o :o :o :o  no lie!!

So what do you need now to finish getting all the species on the master angler ????

I would say start with checking the state records and see where the biggest brook have been taken in recent years. Talk to Fish and Game people and go from there.  Good Luck
