Went to SD this past weekend on fishing trip and couple people I was with was using Navionics on there phones for topo maps, showing sunken islands, etc. Low and behold my phone service not to great and didn't work worth a darn. For those of you that have used the Navionics app do you get the same results using a garmin Etrex 20 ? Would like to mark spots, waypoints, track and most important show the topography ..
Mainly fish NW Iowa and SD. Is there add on maps I would need for the Garmin?
Done using my phone as it dropped into the hole few weeks ago and also spotty data , Phone case had a little boyence so that saved my butt..
