Plowed/Accessable

Might be nice to post where you've been that is accessible after a storm for those of us without plows nor 4wd.

Probably most will be unplowed for awhile. Some roads near me werent really plowed they just got the snow packed down from the traffic on them.

Good idea if anybody finds one plowed, but in past storms most lots are lucky to get one pass down the middle by a state truck. That just leaves an aisle with mountains of snow either side.

I would think most towns prioritize their plowing strategies. They are more concerned with making roads more passable than to acomidate an Ice Fishermans' whim.

hey: when it concerns ice fishermen- its' always the top priority! Seriously though; the way this storm hit: western ct. saw the least snow+I only got a 2wd pickup myself-so I'd head to the areas that saw 8" of snow well  before I'd attempt to hit the areas that saw 25+"of snow-Those lots would be cleared or acessable-and many of those ponds are worth a bit of a scenic drive to get to them-Ct. is such a small stae-but it's worth exploring every corner.-good luck all-I'll be N.W. this weekend.-

Wethersfield cove is fine, access both from main lot or dmv is good. Great place right now for a calf workout. I only went 30 yds out but had 7in black ice with 8 in of wet slop, man I really appreciate fishing on glass so much more now, make sure you have the right footwear!

I fish with a guy that called the state to get a boat launch plowed last year...might be worth a try if your favorite spot is snowed in.

I went past mansfield hollow yesterday, the road to the boat launch is plowed but I did not drive down it, not sure how much parking is available. The parking lot was not plowed though.

East twin is VERY deep; but also really far northwest where they haven't really seen a lot of snow.-Me; I'm hittin' burr pond this weekend-good place for jigging as well.-Much shallower-and very productive.

Seaquest, did you go to ramp, dam, or beach? Do you know if other 2 are plowed?
