Crafty wife
« on: Jan 27, 2015, 04:52 PM »
So after my 8yr son accidentally dropped my wife's Iphone 5 down the hole, which I was able retrieve from 16 ft of water. My wife decided that I needed additional storage for my Hub shelter clam xl4000t! My requirements were that it must be fishing themed and match the shelter. This is what she came up with!

How did you retrieve it from 16ft of water?

To fish or not to fish? That's a stupid question!

OK, here's a Story.  Hoosier (indiana mod), Iceshanty, and Dale Armstrong and I were Fishing on Green Bay. This was a week long fishing trip. Hoosier was in his flip over jigging for Eyes with his Aqua View set and watching his single hook lure, Got a phone call and was talking that person when an Eye came in. He set his phone on his knee and tried to set the hook, SPLOOSH, in went his android phone! He watched it fall right beside his lure on the cam, still on with screen lit up! He quick grabbed his other rod with a jigging rap on it and dropped in and snagged it real quick. He pulled it up and it was still working. Eventually it ended up acting goofy so he shut it off, when we got back to Motel room we picked up a bag of rice and kept it in fresh rice for 3 days. It eventually dried out and worked fairly well. He used it for close to a year afterwards and eventually got a new one. Quite an experience.

Necessity is the mother of invention. No pun intended, and true in both of your posts. 👍👍👍🍻

Dachmation : I can totally relate. While watching my uncle gut a whitetail deer his flip phone fell out of his shirt pocket into the cavity. He grabbed it walked over to a puddle dunked it in, swished it around and through it back in his pocket and continued his task. Shockingly the phone worked for many years until he lost it in a canoe tip over.

Don't know if you catch any fish, but your wife's a keeper.
