i'm in marshall too.
maynard is super slow. maybe 3-4 keepers per outing.

lyon is killer! getting nice slab gills that are heavy just off bottom. no crappie or perch tho. usually its the other way around. hitting long into the night. we stayed til 10:30pm and there were plenty of takers waiting for bait.

i don't bother with upper brace any more. some clown is riding his motocross motor cycle on it and blasting the fish bite. not sure how they get away with all of that noise they make.

nottawa is also doing great in the open water of the channel if you know any one you can set on their dock. giant gills and crappie there.

thats all i got for ya.

Awsome! Thanks for the info, I've been wanting to hit Lyon!  I live out by lake of the woods and every time i drive by theres a ton of people out there!  I don't see that lake being very productive at least for bigger fish anyway.  Going to check it out after work.

just got off at midnight. was marking them , but no takers after 11pm or so.
14" crappie, 10" perch, 8-9" gills. had a walleye cut me off. was at 6 fow.got to get some new mad rats.

no bites til it got dark today. was fishing by 4pm. i set up in a big pop up hub most times and fish with friends in it. we don't scout for them there. just set up and wait for them. i use 24 - 27 fow.

I've been doing pretty well on Goguac. Have been for past couple years for perch. Last two years were better than this one but still manages to catch a meal!

Where are the perch at?  My dad is coming up next week from Alabama and wants to catch some perch.  I have yet to target them through the ice mostly because I don't have a flasher yet.  ( Emphasis on the YET). ;D

Do you live closer to Goguac lake or Sherman lake?
