Supposed to get a bunch of that white stuff , maybe the fishing will get better! Don't want to shovel though. Is this good or bad for you?

:'( The fishing has been just OK  But shoveling a lot of snow is never OK!  A lot of holes to clear too? :P

The snow will weigh down the ice and water will come out of the holes and onto the ice. I really don't feel like walking in six inches of slush. Hopefully this storm improves the fishing. Minimal snow would be great though.   :)

The brunt of the storm will stay south so the Champlain Islands and NEK should be mostly spared the real heavy snowfall amounts.

Southern VT will see 8" to 15" which will be a bit of a pain but it will settle down in time and be manageable.

I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of inchs of snow on the ice.  It would help with really sunny days.  I find that the fish dont like the sun, and in clear ice you can still cast shadows that will square fish away.

I like having no snow on the ice, made dragging 200lbs of gear out on Saturday easy.

Was out on Boom today moving friends shanty to a new hotspot! Had to get away from those smelt, they were driving us crazy eating all our fatheads! Hopefully we can now catch some perch and bass and trout! The snow can stay in the south!

Measured a good 16+ inches of ice today on Boom so should sustain the weight of the snow and make fishing better! Lol

Storm watch is living in the NEK of Vermont, during the winters.  Get over it. ;)
