lost ice shanty;auger and other fishing goodies

a couple of my friends were fishing Mayville today and on the way home his tailgate came down and they didn;tnotice until a little later.went back but couldn't find their fishing stuff.they lost their shanty,auger;fishing poles and I believe some other goodies.if anyone found any of this please let me know so I can let them know.thank you!

you guys musta drank some beers...because if my shanty blew out of my truck i would a seen it fall out ;D

this is the third time I heard of this happening this yr .I hope everyone gets their gear back .I had a problem with my tailgate last yr lost one of my seats but got my tailgate fixed and I don't want to lose my new thermal hut cost 800 plus everything else ,big losses always keep a eye on your stuff and listen for falling tailgates!!!

jts the new frabill thermal guardian side step 750 plus tax anywhere u shop and it was toasty sleeping out on the ice in minus 6 degrees last weekend with heater on low

Guy up here had his sled, tip-ups and Jiffy come out of his truck couple weeks ago. He didn't know until he stopped to get gas. Went back about 2 miles and there was a guy loading it into his truck and took off. He caught up to him at the gas station and told the guy it was his gear. The reply was "no it not, I found it". " well we will call the Police and you can explain why my name is on it all." He got his gear back....h2l

I guess that it's an expensive lesson everyone should heed,take a minute to strap that equipment down and make sure your name and address are marked on your stuff.Sorry for your loss.

Lost my minnow bucket and bubbler the other day while snow plowing with my truck. Clam shelter and Strikemaster Auger were still there thank God. That darn tailgate is a pain.
