Hopped on the sleds this AM with Bluefin an icetendy and headed. sunup was no wind and pretty warm out then out of nowhere a squall came through and heavy winds with very poor visibility. We made the best of It until around 11. I am having a hard time this season getting useto only fishing a couple hours a week as opposed to 25-30 hours like years past. Not as fun lol. Only fish to show for it. A nice big buck bow. Barely stung him in the Kype with my hook surprised he stayed buttoned. Can be tough to bury a hook on those jaws but if you get it good they aren't going anywhere. Fish was caught in 5 FOW with a big Smelt barely below the ice.

Nice looking bow. Great title on the post too. I'm trying to get a bow to take a smelt but when I put it too close to ice the swim right back up hole. I can imagine the time adjustment too. I can only fish every other weekend and weds. My Wednesdays are like gold to me. Noone on the ice.

winds were brutal, next time the shack is coming no matter how nice it is when we head out! nice fish bud had great colors to. even with the conditions was still a blast

Nice bow good job ,I don't fish in high winds I stayed home waiting to go before the big storm weds time to get the snow shoes on

By the looks of the fish you post, you know where and how to find them . I would rather be out for only a couple of hours and catch fish like that . Instead of the whole day with only Dink perch !!!!! NICE FISH !! Congrtulations . Thank you for sharing
