have a elderly friend of mine that loves perch and asked me to catch him some...grabbed two buddy's,loaded up and went out fishing

Definitely a good perch bite today. Kept a few 7 inchers that just weren't going to release, but everything else in the 8+ range. Good day for sure. Took a buddy out for the first time, had to warn him today was the exception, not the rule.

Wish we could catch perch like that on Champlain, looks like you got the Magog perch figured out. I know where I'm going to try for perch if the bite gets tough in the Champlain Valley! Looks like a lot of fun, to bad Magog is so far away from where I live.

You can catch em like that on champlain. Has been very good so far this year but you have to find em.

Nice to read about Memphremagog.... used to come up every June to visit my Uncle (and Aunt but she doesn't fish!)  Caught lots of nice perch.  Never got to ice fish there and it a bit of a drive now.   Nice catch!

I've had  a few rough days on the big lake, but I've also been doing pretty well also. cant complain really so far
