I went through this morning at the ramp up to my waist. I'm fine, just soggy and pissed.

100% my fault, I should've checked it. The snow was a different color. Lesson learned though. Now I'm drying out my gear, hoping to get out for a few hours this afternoon. I wanted to let everyone know.

how far out were you. did you have to pull yourself out, or was your adrenelin pumping and you bounced up like a bobber...

Sucks that you got soaked but at least you were shallow enough to get out and dry off.

10-15 maybe. Went up to my knees then right on my ass in the water. Didn't get to put a line in. I had my sled rope around my waist and my ice picks around my neck. Just kinda flopped out and squished back to my truck.
