Anyone planning on fishing maxi on Saturday or know the ice condition? Thinking about heading up in the early afternoon and trying the night bite.

I'm not a big fan of Maxi on the weekend anytime of the year... BUT I'll probably be there lol. My original spot has been getting hit pretty hard so I'm gunna try to find a new hole. What kind of fish are you after?

Probably go after perch or eyes tomorrow. never against getting into the crappie or bluegill though!

well it looks like we aren't going to hit maxi tomorrow after all. sucks cause ive never fished it and really want to but we are going to wait until we have a full day to get to know it a little bit. maybe get ahold of you for some advice when we do make the trip?

Been out there every night since wensday night. Bite is real light and super slow. With the 3 days of going I have gotten 9 keeper perch and 1 walleye.

I park at all four corners depending where i want to fish at.

Where ur parking, then the boat launch, up by academy, and on the southeast end. Right now i mostly park at launch or up by where ur parking.

Thanks to northern duck assassin I ended up with 3 walleyes all on tip ups. all between 16-18". Also meet some other nice guys from here, first sergeant and Jim. Thanks to all of you for helping an old man out. Mike

Hit or miss. Channels are better early season but later like this they can be hit or miss

Glad to have fished the same location. I getva kick out of guys catching as much as if i were on the line.

When i went past bass lake last night coming home. Bout 9 p.m. there was still two trucks parked at the marina, fishing straight out from there, up in that 8-10 fow area.....

Yeah I was at Bass a couple times over the last few days.....Lotta whites but not much else
