Anyone ever venture over to Yellowstone, Black Hawk, or Twin Valley?  Seeing if it is worth my time driving over there.

I grew up in Hazel Green and used to travel up to both yellowstone and blackhawk.  Blackhawk was definitely the better of the two fisheries then. My dad still lives in the area and has been doing very well  on the river. He hasn't bothered to head up to either yellowstone or blackhawk.

Never been to Black Hawk, but I've been to De Soto Bay a few times over the years.  Did pretty decent there a few years ago but haven't gone back.  We only went up there when we didn't have good local ice, back in 2012.  Haven't heard of any decent reports from there this year.

I was just looking for a place where I had a decent chance of getting into some walleye. I've fished Schmitt a couple times without a bite.
