Is the ice safe there yet?  Why not take out a quad?

Is that 3 miles towards bass island or more NW or NE? Is it better to fish depth change areas or flat basins?

Doesn't seem very far to that depth.  Perch or walleye?

We caught walleye.

It is a about 3 miles due West from the park to get to 21 feet.

Ice conditions dictate that you should go more West than North and stay South of the
tip of Catawba peninsula.

Guys are out today... they are reporting 8 inches... cracks closed... little shove.  This is a second hand report... simply what I am reading, while I should be working  ;D.

Just pointing out something that he may want to be careful about.  It's not 6 per person in the group, it is 6 per the person catching them.

How much snow is in that area?  Would it be possible to walk out to the walleye grounds at 3 miles out?
