Anyone try these before as bait for burbot or lakers? Had some people tell me to try them out, comments, or ideas.

I've used blackfish for burbot. They out produced other baits. Although, along with a whole (dead) blackfish, I used a chunk of salmon eggs threaded on the line right above the head.

Dead blackfish make good tip up bait for pike too. Especially if there are any blackfish left in a lake that has a growing population of northerns which are feeding on them.
