Rainbow Lake?

My family is renting a house on rainbow lake during February this year, it is sort of near paul smiths (from what I've heard) has anybody fished it and if so any tips would be greatly appreciated   ;D

its worth putting tip-ups out especially if ur house is right on the water ;D. there are walleye pike perch bass in rainbow. not great numbers of walleyes tho. if you drive down the road to kushaqa lake it is bigger and there are also lake trout and smelt in there. the lake trout are few and far between tho. good luck

Thanks for replying, I think I'm going to try jigging mostly, and yes it is right on the lake. I'm not going to be able to deal with keeping minnows alive while I'm supposed to be spending  time with the family, so no tip ups. Maybe some perch or crappies in the lake?
