The two lakes I go to have 6"-7". Kinda thin for this time of year. The lake I want to get on is maybe 2" with a bunch of snow. What do you all have to drill through.

Have 11" down here in Eastern Iowa in most the harbors of the Mississippi.. I'd be happy with a couple inches of snow so I'm not ice skating.

Still hanging around 13" to 15 " good hard ice. Temps have been nice also, highs near 30°f. Hammered some crappie yesterday kept 18 between 9" and 13"

I was on three different lakes this weekend and it was around 15" on all three. About 9-14" of snow and a couple of the lakes having about 2-6" of water/slush on the ice. Getting around was tough in spots. If we get any more snow without some cold to firm up the slush it's going to be really tough to get around.

Been a very weird and warm winter here for the most part...lakes took loner to freeze than usual..this past weeknd we had from 6-13 inches of ice depending on what lake u were on which is a bit thin for this time of year...usually a foot on the big lake and well over on the smaller ones

Look at the bright side; You don't have to work as hard making holes! And fishing may be more comfortable!

This Pacific Maritime weather influence is getting old. Been staying just below and above freezing day and nigh here in northern Indiana. Was some freezing rain this morning.

I guess I shouldn't complain; I can still ice fish.

Depending on the lake, anywhere from 6 to 18 inches BUT rapidly deteriorating. 60 degrees with wind for a high today and lows above freezing. By the end of the week 1/2 the local lakes probably won't be safe to access.
