night bite dawson

Took the boys to Dawson lake last night fished from 430 to 9pm.  Caught some decent crappie finally decent is 8 to 9 inches for this lake!! Lost a couple VERY nice ones at the hole! Grrr....16 feet of water waxes on tungsten jigs.

Looks like some quality time with the boys! I love night fishing and a nice long night bite by those mysterious Crappie @)!

What kind of light are you using to light up the water?  Is it on the ice, or in the water?

4ft green submerged light.  Use fish finder battery drill hole and sink it!  Really works well for open water night crappie bite.  Jury is still out on ice night bite?!!  I think it worked we caught crappie sooo....
