Ditto Jak...from this board I have now seen reports on 4 through the ice incidents around the country this year.  3 resulting in 4 deaths.  I now carry some picks ($8) and think it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep some rope handy.

You know,  normally one doesn't necessarily want someone else fishing anywhere close by.  When ice fishing I am always happy to see others.

I'm heading out to Jackson Lake on Saturday. I heard Palisades is getting dangerous around the edges as some of this rain is making the lake come up. Any word about Jackson Lake, WY?

I went to Jackson lake on Sat caught one fish,it can be slow out there.Good luck

Went to big elk today didn't have any luck. Any one have any suggestions on jigs and color,any advice would be welcome. Thanks

Anyone been out on palisades,went out to Montpelier caught a bunch of perch a few trout. I think I might try fishing big elk this weekend,let me know what you think????

Cool,I walked out on the ice at big elk blowout,both have great ice, no water at shore kinda nice

Fishing was really slow,ice was good lake is making a lot of noise. But the ice should be good for awhile. I'm thinking about fishing Jackson lake soon. Jak did you guys fish Jackson lake?? If so how was it??

I drove by big elk today and the forest side is completely capped and looks fairly thick. But be safe!
