It was perfect as of a few days ago, nothing that would make me think it would be unsafe at this point

Went out off the loop this morning 7 to noon.  Shore ice was no problem at all.  Ice is still 20" and real slick, wear creepers.  Tried between 25 and 35 feet of water and the vex was lit up all morning.  Probably caught over 50 with most in the 4" to 6" range.  Kept 10 that were 8 and 9 inchers.  Very few others out.

Heading out tomorrow morning as well. Not sure if it'll be from the loop. Might head out of 3rd creek and walk to a spot out there. Good luck guys

Any indication if there is slush under the reformed ice? trying to decide about bringing the sled out saturday. I know It is supposed to rain but if there is nothing for it to break down into it should be fine. thanks in advance

I didn't run into any slush at all yesterday.  Looks like it refroze into white ice.  Good luck.

Yes, parking is on the side of the road, just make sure not to block any driveways.  Access is at end of Maiden Lane.  Can't tell you latest ice conditions, haven't been there since last week.  Post what you find, may try one more time later this week.

It's a little side road to the right as your heading out to the "loop"  Just before you reach the loop.

Ice was fine Saturday , Maiden Lane is the name of the side road . We back down and drop gear off then go park on loop . We only caught 8 keepers in 4+ hours , lots of Dinks :-(

ice is still 18"-20".............mostly hard stuff.......seems like there will be a good block of ice out there even if the shore ice does start to erode over the next week.     by the way     only 1 fish over 8"

JBoggey1 had an awesome day on the ice today.  Hauled in this monster 36" Lake Trout and an 18" Brown Trout.  All on 2lb test.  I kid you not.  Took him about 45 mins to finesse that lunker out of the hole but it was awesome to watch.  So glad I could be there to see it all.  Congrats, JBoggey1!
