ICENUT  3,112 acres big water a lot of fish some times hard to find and hard to get to bite. Most of times gin clear water a lot of guys use cameras here but any machine is a must.I've found that fish like clean plastic or grubs to minnows but you never know.Gills are big and crappie are to perch can be slobs but a harder time find. Steelheads, brown trout, and large mouth bass are always a bonus and fun to hook on a little jig pole.

Gills and crappie were very cooperative today at misery.  The pumpkinseeds were really aggressive.  Makis were the ticket.

Misery can be great. Like others said go light. I like when the whole area is solid so everyone can spread out

I know it is a large area so just looking for some general areas to go..Horseshoe pond worth trying or just stay in misery bay...and if ice is good then main bay is good to try.  Sound right?  Haven't fished up there on the ice!

I fished the stink-hole yesterday. Plenty of safe ice all over the bay. The only place I didn't see anyone was off the convention center, not sure what the ice is there.

Off the park side you can literally walk about anywhere you want. You can even take the long walk all the way out to the channel, and out towards the yacht club.

Spud to be safe. Ice has been funny everywhere this year, but the lack of snow on Presque Isle had helped it keep good ice most everywhere.

Off Misery they were even on the creek channel yesterday.....

Planning on heading up to fish Misery bay next Friday.  Should we focus on panfish or mix it up with some tip ups and shiners/chubs etc.  I see there can be some variety in there but won't waste time with tip ups if more crappie/perch etc.
Tks.

(Fished lake arthur today, upper 528 launch area roadbed.  No flags, but some perch/crappie/gills.)
