By the powers vested to me by the Newfound Circus I could perform weddings at sea, burials at sea(Tough during ice in but doable), mammograms(not for you), and prescriptions to avoid scurvy. Also a member in good standing of the Newfound Circus Bobhouse Demolition Team. If your shack is stuck we can get it out either in one piece or several.

Appreciate the resume. It seems the only service of yours, that I may have need for in the near future is the burial at sea. Are your "powers" good for Winni also?
Doubt the ice will be an issue. If it's cold enough for ice,, my corpse should keep till ice out.

Have viewed and appreciate your bobhouse demo skills. Thinking if I put one out, I'd most likely keep it blocked up.

Doubt you'd ever want to switch teams, (not that there's anything wrong with that) but you could always add manograms

Hi Jiggin, great job on the shanty. Where did you order the fiberglass sheeting and what size did you go with. Fibron is also fiberglass sheeting that is used on RV's. Just curious if you found it local. Keep up the good work, you fired me up to rebuild my wheelhouse.

The fiberglass on my house was actually given to me. (I'll let the person who gave it to me comment). That's sorta what started the build....it was the final missing component that i have been collecting over the years.
i think i heard being able to purchase it from someone in Barnstead(?), I think they call it Kalwall or something like that. Check with Troutfreak as he bought some for his house. The only problem i heard was that it isn't standard sized...not 4'x8' but something different.
Jimmyrig built the alum. house studs to the width of the sheets for me. I'm sure that was a challenge in it self. He did an awesome job getting it right.

I did get those fiberglass sheets in barnstead from trailer toms. The owner is a great guy. All of his stock was in trailers and pretty tough to pick through. He has various grades, sizes, and colors. He charges by the lineal foot. He often posts on Craigslist. The stuff is good for bob houses, I just decided to use aluminum instead. After seeing jiggins wrap, I am impressed to say the least. I think it would take paint pretty good too.

He was very appreciative. The young man learned a valuable lesson about how much work is involved in having a bobhouse. He put it out in January and NEVER blocked it up or moved it. His father kept telling him to move it but......Then all his buddies and family disappeared when it came time for the work(his father had his own shack to tend). The 30 pack at the end was his show of thanks to the demo team. The spot where his house sat was picked up and clean when he was done. Hope he's back this year as he is a good guy.

True, he was a good guy and really appreciated the help. Hope he's not done ice fishing. That's how you really learn, through your mistakes. Too bad we weren't able to get it off in one piece but it was fun. He now has a handle....LumberJack.

You just never know what you'll get at the Dark Side....always entertainment.

Sounds good. No substitute for experience. IMO, rule # 1 for a hard side is to have friends that will drop everything to help a shack in need. Not as crucial on NF, but every where else...
I might have a hard side but....friends have other commitments.
Hope the Lumber Jack comes back, and with more experience. Being appreciative is a big plus. Not all are.

If he purchases one of those "leg jacks" or "bottle jacks" he should be able to keep it blocked up himself.
