I stopped to check the ice and seen all the folks out there and ventured out to see the thickness. Most spooky ice I have seen in a long time. Not very strong yet I got up near a couple of guys and it started cracking. Seen two guys in a pop-up and the ice was sagging with water all around them. Did see a couple of flags while tip toeing around, smaller pike was iced and returned to grow bigger  :)

Calling for rain tomorrow, if the extended forecast holds true it will build ice quickly.

They are all sitting in a big group now.  I might be out this evening.  Might even see those guys who stopped answering my texts.

Thanks for the report gaustin....I was thinking about going over there today, but that doesn't sound to good. I'm fairly new to Ice Fishing and don't want to take any chances on suspect ice.

Na, I just watched 4 guys walk right by that spot on the cam.  They were all sitting in a huge group where that wet spot is and there was a shack set up.  There is a guy fishing those holes right now and a few sprinkled around the bay still.
