Problem with Ridgid 18 v drill chuck remove

how do you remove the chuck  on Rigid Drill  after screw out inside chuck then.......  i have struggled with chuck remove and wont get off i followed the intro from clam plate description about drill chuck but failed and called Rigid customer service and said use put Allen hex on chuck and hammer on it will get loose turn even right and left  no avail ..  I did   then give up. Rigid 18 v  half inches dia. and 5oo something lbs torque

There have been a lot of posts describing what guys have tried.  I don't know what else to say, except use a big - long allen wrench, and either hit it for all you're worth or use a big cheater bar.  Use some clamps or a cushioned vice to hold on the the drill.

my buddy helped me out and put  3/8 inches Socket Hex Bit inside the chuck and put Socket Wrench  and hammer it finally loose  well done  ;D
