I talked to a brave soul on Sunday coming off the ice down at the catt, said was out Fri- Sun . Hammered them ,over 200 perch 2 miles out.

Just walked in the door what a day! Fast n furious in the morning followed by a painfully slow midday.. Picked away at them for awhile until that magic moment then BOOM fish frenzy until we ran outta light! God I love this lake! One more day of fun tomorrow.. We left with 3 or 4 buckets of jumbos today  ;D ;D

Fish on Thursday andgot a lot before 10 and like 230 or so hit them again went home with 45 the ice was getting really soft on top but was still good when came off at 5

HOW DO YOU RATE THE 2014/2015 ERIE ICE SEASON>

aquaman: I.ve had the best season since recent memory. Last season was sporadic at sturgeon. 8 - 20 fish per trip  always moving. Smoked em real late real deep..63 ft Couldn't fish hamburg last season.    Didnt fish sturgeon this year.bad ice early bad ice late.This season Good and steady at hamburg. early season.48ft  then hammer time at catt 48ft  back to hamburg steady to insane..36- 48 ft really good year for me.   how bout u

Great season... Actually the first one to walk out the Catt this year caught fish for 2 weeks out there all alone was awesome!!! Caught lots more walleye this year too. Caught eyes ,steelhead, browns, perch, smallmouth and a laker out of Erie this year still looking for the elusive whitefish myself. Great year anyways. Cant wait until next year!!!    OHIOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

well I think ill chime in on this first of all I fish with some real awesome guys and I met  them all icefishing we know all there names just look back a few posts but there one guy that haul me all over that feaken lake this year new York and ohio !!!!!!!and like HE said its was a good year   and he is handing one of the many jumbos we pulled up this year     I would rate this year as one of the best years in a long time and yes we found a few honey holes  :clap:  and we had a run in with this guy but he left quietly but all and all it was a good year for the Lake Erie Hardwater diehards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  BIGFISH  ONE PIC WONT HURT

     The last pic you post was were danny from jamestown was spotted in shallow at catt creek for when you posted final on fish. .I wish I new how to post pics casuse I have one of you laying on the ice on  Thursday afternoon.Boy would everyone get a chuckle.while we where all by the cheeseit box on fish and the BIGGIE HAD NO ACTION!!!

You can not take too many perch, unless you can not clean them, give them to your friends and neighbors to clean and cook. The more perch you take, the faster and bigger the rest  will grow. The walleyes and bass will survive from fry to fingerlings.

Nice pictorial Bigfish. Glad I was there and a pleasure "hauling u around" I learned a thing or two also. Cant take pictures of laughs tho, had a lot. What a sweet lake huh./ What happened to the whiteys. None caught this season.? Eyes and trout.. as bonus fish..?? Boats ready launch permit bought, ice almost gone, mudline beginning on Ontario for browns/coho, perch stacked in spring holes...bring it on.

I was out to my place on Point Breeze yesterday.
Was shocked to see so much ice gone.
It was way out on the lake, maybe 2 miles out there.
Last Saturday it was locked up solid.
Amazing what a week will do.
Can't wait to see the sat image of the lake tomorrow.
Supposed to be clear so w should get a good shot of the entire lake.
