Your augers are out there with my rod bag...  Almost impossible to replace gear now as apparently the ice season is over... At least in the eyes of retailers.

Sure would love for somebody to find for me...  Certainly would make returning it worth their while.

Has there been any improvement in the trails going out from Sturgeon or is it still death to quads?

Was out of sturgeon today.took my quad and so did partner along with about 6 other guys on quads. First 3/4 of a mile there was 3 slush holes after that it was free sailin. Few drifts here and there but for the most part like i said after that 3/4mile mark its good to go. Back at it again tomorrow

Anyone try going out of evangola or been by there. Thinking of giving it a shot next week just curious how it looks. If it's doable or not. I know it's quicker to the deep water and haven't had much luck at st point in my last few outings

I think all year it's been pretty vacant out there, no quad travel keeps a lot of guys at home, definitely too far to walk.  Walkers and quads are better off at sturgeon so it leaves a limited amount of guys able to fish hamburg.  I'm sure you won't be alone this weekend

Like I always say, "ya need a snowmobile and a quad if you want to fish the big lady consistently".  Don't have to be new outfits just reliable.  I made it out on my snowmobile all but once this year since she froze.

Do you have to have a tow bar to tow out a hut with a snowmobile or is a rope fine?
