LAKE ERIE 2014/2015
« on: Dec 31, 2014, 12:17 AM »
Time to start this Thread.... Were currently 4 deg warmer than last year.  What's more likely the Buffalo Bills finding a starting QB or the lake freezing over this year?

Seneca shoal, or Pinehurst? Pinehurst was devoid of perch last year but it used to be a hot spot years ago. Gotta work so I won`t be out for a while yet. Good luck.

I'm working today to but talked to Chug he said they were going to try today. I would assume SS but ice dictates usually. I'll update if I get a report.

Looks like an east wind so assume they may have postponed. Has anyone been down there?

Very nice.  I go out there all the time in summer.  Not sure I would be able to locate it without the buoy because we come from the SBH.

Yeah my father helped make path with axe yesterday its about 150 yards of shove they broke down and marked with flags and pine trees. After that its clear sailing and flat. I will be going out with atv on Sat. If anyone goes out today or tomorrow give us a post on the reef area ice passed wanaka. We know seneca shoal is good.

Sounds like he was disoriented due to weather conditions, not an ice problem.

The gentleman got confused on his location when the weather turned and his phone was dying. Helicopter found him and pointed him back to shore. He was about 2MI out of Hamburg and is ok
