I'm a big old school Pantera fan.
I'm not sure how many metal heads we've got around here, but this band Emmure gives me restored faith in metal music.

Spare yourself and don't click if you don't like it heavy.  ;D

I love Metal, but not cookie monster vocals. I'm more into traditional/power metal.  I grew up on bands like Black Sabbath,Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Accept, Scorps, and a ton of NWOBHM. I listen to a lot of the newer heavy metal that reminds me of the older stuff. I always loved Cemetery Gates by Pantera.

We are in the golden age of metal. Vastly larger number of metal bands now that are incredibly talented. Lots of sub-genres. The old stuff to me is so damn boring.

NOPE, I'm an old rocker,  I liked the ice fish baby one but to me rap is for the most part a lazy mans sound, WHEN I SAY THAT I MEAN
the stuff where guys just jump around and scream rhymes into a mic.  No musical instruments to be talented playing.  Spinning a record backwards or hitting a key on a computer doesn't count ..
  You guys put up some other good stuff though, I liked the Five finger death Punch songs, but then again a few of the older pieces were pretty  rough.


      I got one for you comp. pro guys to look up and post the link for us , its some what new, it's rock and it's ALL AMERICAN: MADISON RISING/ Star spangled banner;   Even the video is cool...

Classic Rock and Metal for me.I hate Rap and Country with a passion.Just saw Judas Priest in Rochester at Armory in October.Steel Panther warmed them up.Show was supposed to start at 7,Steel Panther started at 845 and I spent a 110 degree 2 hours 2 people from the stage and pouring 3 dollar bottles of water over me to stay alive.Judas Priest rocked out and for guys nearing 70 years old,they were impressive.Saw Boston at Turning Stone this past summer and Kansas too.I don't rock on the ice cause I run and gun too much. Peace and One Love!! p.s. Steel Panther sucked they were so vulgar.Great musicians but their show sucked out.

Hey bdc9. Hard Rock and metal for me too, brother. JP can still bring it. Redeemer Of Souls is a great platter. I can't stand Steel Panther.
Check out these Metal bands: Grand Magus, Mean Streak, Astral Doors, Blind Guardian just to name a few.
