Here is a sample of what can be done with Gas Drills used as power heads. I first had and used the Tanaka Master Auger as it was shipped with the Nils Auger. I was looking to get something even lighter. I picked up the Echo drill and made some handles and had an adapter made so I could attach the Mora 6 in. That worked out well. I later got a 7 and 8 inch Mora auger. The same adapter works with all 3. In fact it also works with the Older Snabb antique auger that I converted to be used with a power head. With one power head I can change if I wish to 5 different Augers. These Motors are leak less and odor less when carried in a car.

I'm trying to find which adapter I need to use for my 270 Tanaka powerhead and use a finbore 111 bit instead of the standard Nils that comes with it .  Any help would be appreciated .

I would say the same one that we use for the Mora.

This person will make it for you. Tell him you want one drilled and tapped to fit the Tanaka. 1/2 by 20 thread.
