I would assume, since you are from West Seneca, that you mean the Bear Lake in the S.Tier just outside Fredonia. Yes, ive fished it, with limited success..it is a small lake, and have had better luck on Chautauqua right down the road.  Either that or Case or Cuba.
Real good Steve, we were biting this morning..we were biting this morning...

I do fish Chautauqua lake, never fished case or Cuba through the ice. But I retired in June and got all my own ice fishing gear and plan on trying many new places. And prepared to fly solo when I need to.

Two years ago I heard the crappie action was pretty good a bear. Anyone else ever got into the crappie over there?  What else is in there?

Pikeplower,
There's panfish, bass, tigermuskies and supposedly walleye but needs a cold spell to freeze, alot of springs feed lake and very little pressure so that should tellyou something about the fishing.

Thanks for the info, that's what I figured, but needed to check. I'm pretty excited to get my new profession started. I put new line on my reels yesterday. I currently have a sinus infection been grounded and bored, so started preparing.
