Last night there was a fun evening that Valpo Girl organizes with the Boy Scouts and Friends of Fishing. She was the brought us together to teach the kids how to make ice jigs and flies. Passing it on to the next generation. Way to go Kris!

Looks like a fun time. I was thinking some of us could get together at a derby and give demos to the kids and parents how to make ice jigs and flies also.

Nice job!! They all look so eager and interested in learning to tie they're own flies. We need more people willing to teach our wonderful passion. More kids need to get out and enjoy the outdoors and put down the video games. Way to go!!!!!

Great job guys on paying it forward - congrats on inserting something new into a young ones life, giving them memories and alternatives to keep their young minds full with good knowledge.

And Rico there's lots of us that need that hair transplant thing LOL-its a sign of knowledge and wisdom - right Felix lol

I completely agree with the top part.

I got an issue with the second part. I believe it might be genetics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought the other night was only about addicting the kids.... But I've gotten the bug to tie some ice jigs. Trying to use my time as we wait in the ice.

Great job everyone. Looks like the kids were really into it. Would have been there if had known about it. Been sorta out of the loop with this torn retina. Last five days was not allowed to do anything except sit on the couch.
Mike, looks like you received some good instruction. Look like A-bombs to me.
I told the Dr my fly tying chair was like the couch and got a bunch tied up.
