Any reports from Polk, St. Croix and burnett county lakes? Lake in St. Croix had some shacks go in after the rain. How bad did it eat away our ice. I am heading out tomorrow and Saturday. Is it 4 wheeler safe. Prior to this ran we had some good ice going....

Probably about 5 inches on most lakes. I would not drive a wheeler out until new year's though. Weather has been unseasonably warm.

3 different lakes since I posted this questions. 8, 10 and 11 inches of what appears to be good solid ice. 4 wheelers safe where I have been for sure. I actually saw a truck out on the lake with 11 inches today, I left mine on shore.....

All depends what lake and where you are at. I measured 10" of ice yesterday where I was fishing.

I guess St. Croix county lakes had barely 5 inches last week and seen a pic of two shacks that went through. I believe it was on Cedar Lake??? Cold temps should help the ice this week.
