Stopped in at Steves Baitshop

They are having another auger raffle this year! An Ion bettery 8inch is the top prize, limited number of tickets being sold. I haven't been out fishing yet but he already has some awesome pike bait in along with the usual array of other bait. Nothing like a trip to a primo bait shop to get anxious for the ice, soon enough I suppose!!

We are very lucly to have Steves Bait Shop in North Hartland, VT. They have great bait. Never as big as I really want though.

Ive had one of those Ion augers going on 3 yrs now its awesome. No gas spills in my sled, its quiet,and it always starts with a push of the button. The only thing you have to remember is to keep the battery out of the extreem cold and hide it , otherwise everybody wants to use it and they will drain it on you.

Well it's the biggest I've seen on a regular basis in vt if your not counting native goldens they jig up and sell up at Champlain. Steve does a great job sorting bait so when you ask for and pay for pike bait, it really is indeed pike bait and not some crap medium heavies that many places will  sell for 14.00 a dozen as pike bait!
