I've been saying for awhile now that I must have been a pike in a different life.. perch patterns.... OOOOoooOOOOooO  can't even tell you how many perch pattern hooks I have...

You bet, when some warm wheather sets in again. The fish should be turning on again soon, full moon coming up on the 4th I think. I will take you to this spot next time if you keep it hush hush.  ;) ;) Maybe the 12" - 14" will still be there. Bring your gloves with you this time.

I love Perch mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Good! Got me a new deep fryer so next meal will be very yummy.   :thumbsup:

Don't the colours just give away the age and size as well?....sure do to me.

Is it just me or do the colors get more vibrant as a perch ages? Your thoughts?

I'll check with the domestic commander and see what days work for me in this next bit and be ready to make a day of it Kim.

I usually have them darn gloves with me and I'm still never wearing them. Kinda like my folding chair, always have it...spend half the day standing fishing. Lol.

PM me your thoughts on days you wanna get out and include your favorite hot beverage...I'll bring my propane coffee (drip) maker. Love the better half for that one. Oh man. Lol.

Wed the 31st is really good for me if your available. Warm, -5 or so, sunny and the full moon is coming. All looks good for good fishing. Just need some Perch to fill my new deep fryer.

Colors in the pics, the ones with the bright colored red fins just behind the gill plate are females the others that do not have as much brightness were males. 3 to 1 female over males were caught.
