Newbie to the site

Just wanted to say hi to everyone on the site, and thanks for the info and tips in the past(I was a lurker last year).  I decided to join this year and hopefully can contribute some.  I am currently a vet student at ISU and really starting to get into ice fishing.

Hey Chris!  Glad to welcome you!! I think you will enjoy this group!  lots of helpful fishers on here!!  I also have a couple of "kids" at ISU!!  My youngest son is almost done with his Doctorate and my daughter is working on hers!  Good luck to you in your schooling, but don't forget to relax with the Fish'n!!! :icefish:

I lived in Ames and ice fished for about 7 years not long ago. Could be better but could be worse for ice fishing.

Your only about an hour from one of the top lakes in the state. Im in the des moines area and do pretty good around here as well if we could get any ice. Give me a shout sometime and we'll get together.

I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.
