One year to the day

one year ago today was the first time I was on the ice for the season... Slow start  >:(

Yep, last year I think it was the 17th or 18th I was out on a solid 3 inches in Fairfield County. I could have been out earlier on some smaller bodies. Plenty do do before the holidays, so I can wait another few weeks I guess.  :-\

I fished the 15th on a small pond, and I was out on bantam on 4 inches of good black ice on December 20th

First let me start by saying you are nuts. I see a lot of own water and that ice looks pretty miserable. And second... ICE :woot: :woot: :clap:

I work down in North Haven. We've had day time temps around 40. Nice to see ice forming in the hill. Won't be long.
