Plotting and Scheming
« on: Dec 15, 2014, 02:09 PM »
You all know how much I love Euro Models  ;D, but our relationship may change if this keeps up! I've looked a multiple 30 day forecast and it's not good. We may even get the dreaded "to much ice to boat, and not enough to stand on" kind of ice at this rate. Now I plan on taking one for my Indiana IS brethren, by planning to start a remodel project on my house, which will almost certainly change the 30 day forecast to a deep freeze, while I'm stuck hammering! This is my plot and scheme against Mother Nature! I hope it works for you all.
I wish I was good at ice fishing!

I`m with ya Doug. I started by cleaning the gutters. Then I dug holes to set and cement posts so I can build a roof over the back porch. *crossin fingers*

I just finished with my gutters... I just read the Chinese calendar, and I couldn't believe my eyes... It's said "the year of the wife"! That doesn't sound good at all!

Not sure it's a euro model but looks like we should get some ice. Maybe a slow start, especially on big waters but we should get it.

Alright alright alright already.  Don't you guys know anything?  Geez, someone go to Michigan and find out how you do the Hunti Loona dance.  LOL  I think that's what it's called.  It's kind of like an indian rain dance but this is something the people of scandanavian decent do to make snow LOL.  I heard about it from some friends that live in Michigan.  Could be just something those people in Michigan do.  I don't know.  But it can't hurt to try, right?  LOL

Within three days there has been a drastic change in the projected temps for December. Northern Indiana should be on by Jan.1 at this rate! I guess the only thing more guaranteed than the lady bug, is starting a project! LOL

Ive been out on a lake the last two weekend, brought home 15 gills each time.  The 3 hour drive isn't that bad.   If you really need to get on the ice north is the way to go.

Dude I totally respect your dedication to make the trips north to find ice but 3 hours North to catch 15 gills is not happening for this cat!

I'm glad you've been getting out and having a good time though!
