Good Deal?

I have an offer for a Strikemaster Mag 2000 3Hp auger. It is older, has rusty flighting on the auger, and the carb needs a little work, but for 100 dollars. Do you guys think this is a good deal? I have no issue fixing the carb by myself, I am just curious if you guys think this is a reliable auger and if it would be worth buying.

If it runs its worth it ...I would clean up the tank ...do a batch of good mix ...add seafoam to that mix as recommend on the bottle ...then add 1 oz to the empty tank and add your mix w/seaform ...run her a bit ..shut her off and lelt sit a spell .

Yeah, I would give it the usual old motor treatment, that is no issue. Does anybody have any idea what brand of motor it is?

Probably a techumseh. They were good motors if taken care of correctly. I'd buy it.
