Did a little scouting today. Found 4" ice in the CT Hills. Might pop a few holes in the AM and do a little jigging.

Species caught : largemouth, smallmouth,  bluegill, perch, White perch, crappie, trout, catfish, bowfin, pickerel, pike

not great. but it was fishable. Little less then half was clear ice, the rest gray. Was starting to honeycomb

wow, Didn't realize there was even close to 4'' anywhere in ct, i'm sure most of it's gone by now :-\
