ice to spear in in N Mi.

 I am going up north to visit Mom and Dad for Christmas for a few days, and would like to know of any spearable ice , for on the way home . I will be in Mancelona , in Antrim co. any lake suggestions?

A lot of people have been posting about Lake Mitchell in Cadillac, but 50 deg today may kill that...ice might be back by xmas
