Fin bore ?
« on: Dec 09, 2014, 08:29 AM »
Does anyone know where I might be able to pick up a 6" Fin Bore hand auger? I have been searching the internet with no luck.  Thank you, Darrin

Edit:  Ok I found one on Amazon for $108, I did not remember them being that high, I thought they were sub $100 augers. My next question would be are they worth the $30.00 premium over the 6" Strikemasters since they basically use interchangeable blades?  Thanks again.

The offset handles on the Finbore are worth the extra money. Strikemaster stopped selling the offset handles some time ago.

I bought a 8" last year and it was the best money I ever spent on ice fishing equipment. I spent $120 delivered to my house. Send me a PM if you want info on were I got it. A non sponsor

try here the shipping cost is about $30 was the quote to my door form Canada by the way i think that 99.99 price tag is Canadian dollars so if the exchange rate is about .13-.15 cent less per dollar. i think i was quote 130 for the 8 inch and i heard some one got it at the same place for $115 shipped to the states for a 8 inch....

I looked at the sponsor's sites first, just none to be found.  I am really looking forward to drilling 6" holes vs. 8" even if the 8 is a Nils.

Kabob I posted that link last year but it didn't last long. They only charged $20 for shipping last year. I bought replacement blades earlier this fall. I thought what they wanted for shipping was to much $. I sent them a email saying so and they lowered the charge.Great auger.
