lake petenwell rental ?

Hi guys was going to rent a house on lake petenwell for the weekend  was wondering if anyone knows of an ice shack I can rent or if I would be able to walk to a decent place to catch crappie

Depending on which side of the lake the house you rent is, a lot of people fish off the east side out from the Lure Bar/Rest.

Whens the best bite and how far of a walk out is it?
