Ha!! Great one, Bart!!
Funny I just saw this...I have some thick pork ribs soaking in apple juice that I am going to wrap in bacon later and slow cook....
Oh, here's some bacon porn for ya, in big pic living color. My little stash in the freezer...those go all the way down to the bottom of the freezer...the 12 pkgs that are left.

HOO BOY!! *CHOMP*CHOMP* Fall off the bone tender....
Seasoned the ribs early this morning after marinating.......
Then rubbed with some maple and wrapped each one in two slices of bacon...then drizzled with smoky BBQ sauce...
Slow cooked for an hour and a half at 220 deg...then put under broiler for 10 mns, pulled and let rest covered..

Looks to be plenty, just in case someone shows up unexpectedly.

Gotta love bacon. I made my own a couple years ago, brined the belly then smoked over apple wood. AMAZING.

I've been getting All natural (no nitrates) bacon at Aldi's and let me tell you it is fabulous. Guilt free but a little more pricey!

Love the stuff. Made up 45 pounds of Canadian bacon, with a bit of venison CB this month. Looking for pork bellies to make regular bacon without much luck. Buckboard bacon is probably next in the smoker.
