Little Buddy Mod
« on: Nov 30, 2014, 01:31 PM »
So now that the boat is put away, I had some extra time to tinker with the Ice Stuff.
I have seen some mods with other heaters, so this is my attempt with my buddy heater.

It will hold up to 4lb before it will tip the whole thing over, but two cups or a small meal pack in tinfol won't be a problem.

nice. if to screw the bottom to a board that is a little longer in the front it should not tip over as easy...
boss spoons, they can catch it all!!!

Hey all,

Thanks for the feedback.  I have to admit, some of it was already built. all I really had to do was  make the bends and do some cutting and high heat paint. Im not sure what kind of metal its made from. I found the rack in my house when i moved in and kept it for any future project. Guess this was ment to be.lol

I have some ideas already for the big buddy, If and when I will ever get one. lol

As for the handles getting hot, im sure they will, as with the rim of the cup too. so my solution for that right now is to get a tea pot or purculater. ( < is that spelt right )

Next pics to come up will be the hut, with the foam floor setup.

Another nice one.  Just be careful with those blue enamel cups, they get real hot and in a brief moment of brainfartitis, you can get a pretty good lip burn.  Something akin to muffler lip.   ;D
