Lake iced over

The lake at my brothers completly iced over 3/4 ". Hopefully fishing earlier than I was hoping!!!
A bad day of ice fishing is better than any day at work!

I think this is another tease, then again I went open water fishing today and found 38 degree water. Think it is supposed to warm up tommorow.

I am winterizing my boat tuesday after that I am more than ready to switch gears and do some ice hoilin'.

Northfarms was iced over this morning as well from what I could see.

I've seen a few ponds around Thomaston area skimmed over. None that are locked up like they were before that last warm spell.
Sometimes it feels like I live in a Pat McManus story!

Was at my cottage in Woodstock today. 1/2" ice there. Hopefully these temps drop and don't get up!

Sorry to say boys but the long range forcast is not looking very good for making ice we may have to wait till after x-mass before we are fishing ct waters unless your willing to travel north

not yet, sitting and waiting lol.  thnks eidz for posting pic. i tried like 2hrs to post that pic. anyways weather doesnt look gd for last day, ill try with the smokepole. he's  nocturnal for sure, hoping he makes a mistake.
