Spearing on Mille Lacs

Any advise on good spearing spots in Mille Lacs?  They opened it up to spearing and 10 fish limit.  Planning on making a trip up to get a bunch of pike for pickling for the holidays.

I haven't fished it for a few years because of slot limits.  They are trying to thin out the predator fish to help with walleye management.

I heard some good reports out of Isle bay. I would think that or Vineland but i'm no means an expert on Mille Lacs.
