Any Safe Ice Yet? - LP

Is there any safe ice in the lower peninsula? 
I have some time off this weekend and wouldn't mind taking a road trip for some fishin'.  My next chance is probably going to be Christmas break.

Just a guess but what ice there might have been is either rained out or has snow crushing it, I could be wrong.

I was on almost 6" here in Emmet County yesterday but I think this rain has probably taken it all; there's a cold week ahead so it shouldn't be long.
