Brushy creek in January
« on: Nov 23, 2014, 02:35 PM »
My brother and I are planning a trip up there mid-January. Anyone know of a decent place to stay for a couple days?  All I've been able to find is a motel in Webster city or fort dodge. Thank you.

Those are the only towns close to the lake with decent hotels. But it's only a 5-10 minute drive from Webster city

Yep. Webster City is gonna be your bets bet. Or rent a cabin at little wall lake. But dont waste your time fishing it lol.

I was on a bus and just happened to be sitting on a news paper. This guy came up and asked. "Are you reading that ?"
I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.

I would stay in fort dodge. It has a few more options for lodging and food, as well as a couple places to pick up ice fishing gear that you may need during your stay.
