Two inches and less. The bread rack you see in one pic distributes weight like a snow shoe, on thin ice.

Your Crazy Man Nice haul looks tasty. I can,t wait till it thick enough for my fat butt and my ten tons of gear that I always think I need. I have gone swimming on a few more than one occasion so I am a little more leery now that I am not 21 any more and have kids and wife to think of lol. Looks like you had a blast hope there's more to come and be safe I hate reading about lost fisherman.

Used to do that when I was a skinny youngster we used pieces of 1/4"plywood to distribute the weight, now that I'm older than dirt and of a portly stature  :o I wait for at least 4" of good ice. My gear is ready just need some ice.

Nice mess of fish looks like ya had fun.
