Plenty of ice - only getting thicker in the Alaska Interior - What a classic November for the Interior 9 inches of ice over 110 FOW today



We caught some nice fish today - including these

The difference between an 8" hole and a 10" hole is.....a 10" hole will usually give you your boot back!

In the food chain of life...its not good to be referred to as: "a good eating size".

I am an equal opportunity angler.  Fresh, Salt, and Frozen water in Alaska. No discrimination for eating sport fishing rods :

Fly Rod - Of course
 

Halibut Rod - Yum eat those too


Yeah even when using a "Stick N String" for sockeye salmon

I regards to the way you hold your rods, I have heard of the pencil grip and the palm grip, but never the BEAVER grip.
It must be an Alaskan Exclusive.....I hope its not contagious!
